Throwback Thursday Concert: REM 1985

March 12, 2015 — by The Social Clymer

Wow.  What a great moment in time.  Fables of the Reconstruction had just come out.  Life’s Rich Pageant was still months away.  This is REM when they were still young, hungry and wild.  They really work as a band to bring all of these classics to life.  I didn’t see them until a couple years later when they were just a little more grown up, a little more polished.  I like the rough edges.  They suit the songs.
