Something for Him. Something for Her. Something for Me. Infographics This Week!

August 25, 2014 — by The Social Clymer

Today, I was in a meeting with a bunch of truly talented policy wonks.  You may ask yourself, “What was Christian doing with such an august group of highly intelligent people?”  The answer is simple: they keep overthinking how to package their research findings and key messages.  Fortunately, they have me.  The underthinker.  It’s my job to take their complex notions and concepts and translate them into something that is easy for anyone to digest. I feel like Josh Baskin saying, “I don’t get it.” until they can boil actuarial charts, survivability statistics or the complex maneuverings of Congress into a simple sentence that anyone could understand.

That’s what many of these graphics, charts or interactive pieces have in common. How can you 1,000 words with a picture.  While I’ve done these sorts of posts before, I’m proud to include a little of my own handiwork in this week’s bundle.  If you have a graphic that you’d like to share, please leave a comment and let me know!
