Trevor Christensen is an accomplished photojournalist. His work has been featured in USA Today, the Washington Post, and the Salt Lake Tribune among others. His posed and action portrait work is amazing. You can see that he has a real eye for bringing out the humanity in a subject while finding the right perspective to capture a mood. Some shots are beautiful in their simplicity, while others utilize the environment to create something striking.
But, with a headline like that, you aren’t here for ANY of that. You’ve come to see the naked people – and you’ve come to the wrong place. That’s because Trevor has taken a different approach with the nude photograph. As he says on his blog, much of a good photographer’s work is making a subject feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable. To be human. In this series, though, Trevor has opted to make himself vulnerable. He has shed his own clothes behind the camera to make himself vulnerable and to get reaction from his subject. The result is amazing.
