Music Vault Moving to YouTube

July 9, 2014 — by The Social Clymer

Great news today via The A.V. Club – MusicVault.com, a collection of videos of classic concerts, is taking its inventory to YouTube making access and streaming easier than ever.  Concerts include timeless acts like Aretha Franklin, The Allman Brothers and Elvis Costello.  Or this one from Tom Petty…

You can also find performances from modern acts like Local Natives, Phosphorescent and performances from Daytrotter and Paste Magazine.  Like this one from one of my faves Ra Ra Riot…

This is pretty amazing.  It’s like having the world of music laid right out in front of you.  Leave a trail of bread crumbs or tie a rope around your waist, because you could get lost for hours.  When your boss comes to your door and wonders why you are holding your lighter up at the end of the 1977 performance of Free Bird at the Oakland Coliseum, don’t say I didn’t warn you!
